Before the 1st tooth erupt, clean the childs mouth & gums with soft cotton cloth or gauze. As the teeth start to erupt clean them gently with children's toothpaste, about a size of rice gain.

PIT AND FISSURE SEALANTS
Due to the anatomy of, chewing surface of permanent molars, they are more prone to decay. Pit & fissure sealants is a preventive treatment, werein a plastic material is placed in the pits & fissures of a molar tooth thus preventing the decay to occur.
Sometimes fluoride application are also done to protect the teeth which are more prone to decay.
